Job summary

Guardian Glass in Goole, East Yorkshire, is seeking a Reliability and Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance planning and execution across production lines. You will build a high-performing team and drive a shift from reactive to proactive reliability.

You will develop capability, foster safety-first practices, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering to improve equipment availability and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading teams in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to plan and execute to high standards.
• Motivate, coach and develop people with clear feedback.
• Able to prioritise maintenance work and resources under pressure.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across Operations and Engineering.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM or structured work-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the reliability team across production lines.
• Drive maintenance planning, CMMS/EAM work management and proactive repairs.
• Coach staff with regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Create an empowered environment for change and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance for reliability.
• Lead strategy and reviews of preventive and condition-based asset care.
