Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to lead shift teams, ensure equipment readiness, and uphold safety and process compliance at one of our operational sites.

You’ll monitor performance with CMMS and SCADA, drive preventative maintenance, and implement improvements across the EU network, developing others and working closely with your line manager. Weekend/night shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent apprenticeship.
• SVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.
• Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record tasks.
• Technical leadership experience in a similar environment.
• Experience in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in automation or material handling environments.
• Advanced verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on equipment safety and monitor teams.
• Track equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Supervise shift technicians and support their development.
• Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and boost throughput.
• Identify and implement EU-wide process improvements.
