Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead proactive maintenance and reliability improvements for fast-paced manufacturing equipment. You will implement PPM across a range of machinery and work with the engineering team to minimise downtime.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, a recognised mechanical engineering qualification, and strong fault-finding skills. IPAF and safety awareness are valued assets for the team.

RELIABILITY ENGINEER

Location: Manchester

Salary: £55,000

Shift: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off - moving to Wednesday to Saturday, 7am-7pm after a few months

Job Role of the Reliability Engineer

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Reliability Engineer has come to the forefront. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and extending the life of site machinery.

You will be responsible for delivering a proactive planned preventative maintenance programme across a range of production machinery and equipment, ensuring maintenance is completed effectively and machinery remains reliable and operational.

Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will help identify opportunities for continuous improvement, support engineering projects and contribute to improving the overall reliability and efficiency of the site.

• Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
