Job summary

Diageo in the United Kingdom seeks a Reliability Engineer to maintain and improve equipment reliability across key production lines. You will lead proactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive data‑driven improvements with SAP and Office tools.

You will mentor peers, reduce reactive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards. This role offers exposure to iconic brands and a collaborative, performance‑driven culture within Diageo's Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

  • Recognised Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship with an HNC or equivalent.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing complex machinery faults.
  • Experience with problem‑solving techniques such as 5 Whys, RCPS, and familiarity with maintenance systems like SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Knowledge of Reliability/Maintenance methodologies.
  • Fault finding expertise.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and mentor others.
  • Excellent communicator and a collaborative team player.
  • Conscientious, detail‑oriented, and solution‑focused.
  • Positive, adaptable, and committed to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating across teams to deliver impactful results.
  • You will be a key contributor to developing a culture of excellence, coaching peers, and ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed effectively.
