Join us as a Relationship Director in Commercial Mid-Market
- This role involves managing and developing a portfolio of commercial customers, providing them with suitable financial products and services.
- You will drive sales activity to maximize new business while maintaining strong customer relationships to enhance the customer experience.
- Your long-term thinking and commercial acumen will support business growth and help build lasting relationships.
- Your work will be a mix of client meetings at their premises, collaborating with colleagues in the office (minimum two days a week), and remote work within the region.
What you'll do
- Show entrepreneurial attitude, advocating for customers and creating value from relationships.
- Provide excellent customer service, offering appropriate financial solutions to increase loyalty and satisfaction.
- Maintain relationships with key business and functional partners.
- Use contact and strategy planning tools effectively, identify customer needs, and record interactions.
- Present pitches and papers to customers.
- Analyze financial data to prepare structured credit applications.
- Deliver targeted new lending adhering to risk and capital controls.
The skills you'll need
- A diploma in lending skills is mandatory; if not held, it can be obtained within six months of starting.
- Previous experience in commercial banking is required.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills are a plus.
- Proven risk assessment experience with monitoring and control skills.
- Outstanding customer relationship skills.
- Deep knowledge of credit processes and policies.
- Understanding of macroeconomic and financial outlooks, with insight into the commercial sector.
- Experience analyzing complex financial information and structuring solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
