Job summary

Seetec Communities is seeking a Personal Wellbeing Coach to support offenders in custody and during reintegration, delivering tailored wellbeing guidance and skills to help individuals live more successfully in the community. This role is hybrid across Kent, part-time 18.5 hours per week, with a fixed-term contract until March 2027.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of the criminal justice system or recovery from related issues.
• Peer mentoring experience in prison, probation, or related charity work is desirable.
• Experience motivating groups or individuals to change behaviour.
• Ability to engage a diverse range of people with complex social challenges.
• Advocacy skills to support service users.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed a high-quality performance culture in which participants are enabled to achieve positive change.
• Action referrals from Probation Practitioners within contract timescales.
• Undertake required skills training to enhance group-work delivery.
• Update and maintain an electronic database to record attendance and achievements and generate reports.
