Your new company is an independent Lloyd’s broker based in the City of London, delivering specialist insurance, reinsurance, and capital markets advisory services. They are renowned globally for their market knowledge, analysis, and insights. Due to growth in their Facultative and Treaty Practice, a permanent position for a Reinsurance Client Manager has arisen.

Your new role involves working across various classes such as Property, Cargo, and Marine, and is a hybrid Account Executive/Broker Technician position. Responsibilities include producing technical documentation (slips, endorsements), facilitating reinsurance contract placement, managing risk documentation throughout its lifecycle, and maintaining up-to-date market knowledge. You will develop relationships with underwriters and brokers, analyze client needs, and prepare submissions for underwriters. Ensuring efficient account servicing and demonstrating technical expertise are key aspects of this role.

What you’ll need to succeed includes previous experience as a Broker Technician or Account Executive with slip experience in Facultative and Treaty business, client management experience within a broking house or insurer, and knowledge of the Treaty or Facultative market in Marine or Non-Marine sectors. Experience with global programmes is preferred.
