Your new company

Your new job working alongside the Internal Broking Team at a Lloyd’s Syndicate means you will be part of an innovative syndicate with significant growth plans. The syndicate has over 500 staff in their London office and prides itself on being a top-tier London Market Syndicate.

Your new role

This permanent role as a Broker Operations Technician involves working in the Operations team, managing relationships with external partners (such as Xchanging), handling business transactions with direct clients, and liaising with internal teams to facilitate business processes. Responsibilities include preparing and processing premiums, claims, bordereaux, treaty statements, and associated documentation, maintaining the broking system, communicating with underwriters, coverholders, clients, and Xchanging, and supporting processes for the syndicate’s reinsurance activities. Additional duties include supporting other Business Support sections as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a technical operations role at a Broker, Insurer, or third-party provider like Xchanging.
• Lloyd’s/London Market experience in a similar operational role.
• Solid technical knowledge of Binding, insurance systems/services, BDX, Xchanging systems, and Excel.
• Good understanding of London, Lloyd’s, and international insurance markets, system processes, and reporting requirements.
