Your new job as a Senior Technician/Operations Technician means you will work for a Specialist Global Insurance and Reinsurance Broker based in the heart of the City. They are experts in global multi-class insurance and reinsurance broking within emerging and developed countries. They are expanding and focus on providing broking support and expert advice to clients. A new opportunity has arisen for an individual to join their team and provide technical support to the MENA regions as a Senior Technician/Operations Technician.
Your new role
In this role, you will handle Technical and Overseas Broking, supporting MENA and related markets. You will manage an existing book of predominantly wholesale multi-class reinsurance business, working closely with Brokers and Producing Brokers to create MRC slips, endorsements, and other broking documents. You will assist in placing overseas broking, liaise with brokers, produce closing documents and invoices, and ensure proper input into IT systems like PPL. You will support ongoing client servicing and assist the division head with new inquiries. Additionally, you will work closely with underwriters on uploading information and creating documents, covering all classes of Non Marine insurance including Property, Casualty, PV, and Terrorism.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have previous experience as a Broker Backup Technician or Broker Support Technician capable of producing MRC slips, and ideally be CERT CII qualified or working towards it. Only apply if you have experience in these areas, specifically in handling non-marine business and preparing MRC slips.
