We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Claims Technician to join our Reinsurance team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

The team supports our client base by providing technical claims handling and broking for Long tail Asbestos Pollution and Health hazard claims originating from the USA.

We will rely on you to:

• Provide technical claims handling for Long tail Asbestos Pollution and Health hazard claims
• Communicate and present information to clients professionally
• Collect detailed information on accounting and claims processes
• Secure reinsurer agreements and manage payments of claims and account balances
• Handle the settlement of funds to and from clients
• Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and ideas
• Collaborate on claim developments
• Participate in training sessions

What you need to have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills
• Previous claims handling experience
