Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist to lead and deliver rehabilitation programmes onsite within our charity framework. You will run rolling 12-week plans and facilitate live stream and in-person group sessions, adapting exercises as participants improve and helping them self-manage their health using on-demand content and journaling.

The role requires a Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification, IT proficiency, and experience with vulnerable adults.

Qualifications

• Essential Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification.
• Experience as Rehabilitation Specialist preferred.
• BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation desired but not essential.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use online platforms for live streaming.

Responsibilities

• Organise and run rolling 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
• Deliver live stream and in-person group exercise classes for participants with varying abilities.
• Promote self-directed activity using on-demand classes and a participant journal for self-management.
• Recalibrate exercises and intensities based on improvements in effort and performance.
• Identify deterioration of participants and follow escalation processes with timely reporting.
