The Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 2 Healthcare Therapy Assistant for the Stamford Unit on the Tameside Hospital site in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will provide care and support with daily living activities while incorporating rehabilitation to optimise independence, working within a multidisciplinary team to help patients return home safely.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Provides care and support with activities of daily living while incorporating rehabilitation to optimise independence.
• Works within a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and return home.
• Reports patient progress and communicates problems to supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Work unsupervised or under supervision to support care plans.
• Follow set protocols and patient-centred care and therapy plans.
• Work flexibly across shifts, including 7 day working and bank holidays.
