Powys Teaching Health Board is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (Band 3) to join the Community Therapy Team on a fixed-term 2-year contract. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) and involves weekend and bank holiday shifts, working with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to deliver patient-centred rehabilitation at home.

It requires good teamwork, communication, and flexibility to cover a rota across 8am-8pm shifts.

Competenze

• Level 3 education or equivalent such as BTEC, NVQ3 or A Levels.
• Desirable experience in a healthcare or therapy setting.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required.

Mansioni

• Deliver rehabilitation through therapy interventions and assist with personal care, cognition, mobility and activities of daily living.
• Carry out rehabilitation plans delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families and the therapy team.
• Be flexible to support the team during peak service times.
• Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8am and 8pm.
