This is a permanent, full time position.
The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday 37 hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team providing assessment, treatment, and intervention to older people and disabled adults with multiple pathologies. These duties are conducted in service users own homes and communities enhancing ability to maximise independence and deliver person centred care. The area covered includes North West Glasgow City.
The aims of this service include promotion of independence, self-management, admission avoidance and supporting hospital discharge. Other duties will involve the supervision of support workers and students as well as opportunities to be actively involved in service development. You will be part of an integrated team, working directly along side other AHP and nursing professions to deliver person centred goals.
You will be a chartered physiotherapist and HCPC registered. Experience of being part of an inter-disciplinary team and relevant experience in neurology/ older person’s care is desirable although not necessary.
This is a community post and you will work in a variety of locations in the North West of Glasgow City, therefore a full driving license is essential.
