Job summary

NCIC is hiring a Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant to support Cockermouth & Maryport ICC within the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. You will work with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help patients regain mobility and independence.

The role involves implementing rehab plans, monitoring progress, and assisting with daily living activities, on a rota covering early to late shifts. Training and professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 in Rehabilitation, Care Certificate or equivalent.
• NVQ3 in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Care or equivalent.
• Additional training in rehabilitation or caring for the older person.

Responsibilities

• Implement rehabilitation plans with MDT guidance.
• Observe patient condition and provide direct rehabilitation-focused care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Flexible rota with 7-day working requirement.
• Participate in in-service training days.
