Job summary

NCIC is seeking a Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, to support inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. You will work with Physiotherapists to deliver treatment programmes and help patients regain independence.

The role requires a positive, caring attitude and the ability to motivate patients through their recovery, with 30 hours per week on a rota. Salary £25,760–£27,476 pro rata.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade 4 and above.
• Level 3 qualification in health or social care related subject or equivalent.
• Care Certificate or willingness to undertake.
• Sports science experience.

Responsibilities

• Support inpatient and group rehabilitation sessions.
• Deliver delegated treatment programmes.
• Monitor and record patient progress.
• Assist with equipment provision and admin tasks.
• Collaborate with the MDT to ensure safe, person-centred care.
