Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Northwich is seeking a part-time Community Therapy Assistant (Band 3) to support therapists in delivering high-quality care. A UK driving licence and access to a work vehicle are required.

The post is 32.5 hours per week with pro rata salary of £25,760–£27,476 per annum. The role supports home exercise programs and multidisciplinary teamwork within the CCICP framework.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery of therapy through home exercise programs and education.
• Communicate with therapist regarding patient progress and support patient’s functional recovery.
• Support service with ordering, maintaining stock and equipment.
• Use excellent communication skills to ensure clinical advice and treatment programmes are delivered sensitively.
• Carry out specified assessments, interventions and programmes under the direct supervision of a qualified clinician.
