Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant for our Frenchay service in Bristol. You will support adults with complex physical and cognitive impairments, assist with personal care and rehabilitation activities, and work closely with the clinical team.

This role offers flexible days/nights, part-time or full-time hours, and pro rata salary around £27,705.43 (FTE). DBS required; disability-friendly employer with supportive development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting is required.
• Genuine interest in providing person-centred care.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Enhanced DBS will be required.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting and nutrition.
• Assist nursing staff to provide high-quality, individualized care.
• Be a key part of the team and help patients achieve planned outcomes.
• Build relationships with patients and support rehabilitation programmes.
• Establish effective communication with patients and reduce barriers.

Come and join one of the UK’s largest providers in complex care.We'd like you to join us as a Rehabilitation Assistant at our service Frenchay in Bristol.Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre is a 52 bed centre, we specialise in the treatment of adults with complex physical and cognitive impairments, challenging behaviours and neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury. We offer comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and therapy with amazing facilities including Accessible therapy kitchens, Hydrotherapy pool, Two gymnasiums plus 5 large day rooms, three with direct access landscaped gardens.
