Job summary

Bridgehouseabingdon is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant (Nights) to provide compassionate personal care to residents at 1 Sewardstone Close Care Home. You will assist with bathing, meals, mobility and daily routines while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

The role requires vigilance to residents’ wellbeing, and you will help maintain high care standards, safety, and cleanliness. Training is provided for all new staff in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be alert to residents’ physical and mental wellbeing.
• Role involves high care needs; strict standards for cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents (bathing, eating, mobility).
• Support residents with daily activities and social engagement.

About the role

As our Rehabilitation Assistant (Nights), you’ll provide personal care to our residents, supporting them with bathing, eating, visiting the bathroom, and also getting around and enjoying our lovely home. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their needs. Here’s some other important things you need to know:

• You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being
• You will help maintain our high standards ensuring our residents’ home is always clean and safe
• This is a challenging but very rewarding role. Our residents have high care needs and so will rely on the care and support you provide.
