Job summary

Brooklands Care Home in Costessey (Costessey Lane) is seeking a Night Care Team Leader to supervise the night shift, lead staff, maintain care records, and assist with care plans. You will provide personal care to residents, supporting bathing and daily living activities.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, adherence to care plans and medication administration accuracy, and keeping residents safe and well.

Qualifications

• You must have the ability to effectively supervise and manage care staff.
• You’ll follow electronic care plans and administer medication as prescribed, maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the night shift, leading and motivating the team.
• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing and daily living support.
• Maintain daily records and assist with care plans, ensuring safety and hygiene.

About The Role

As our Night Care Team Leader (Nights), you’ll manage and oversee the shift by leading and motivating the team, managing daily records, assisting with care plans. You'll provide personal care to our residents, supporting them with bathing. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their needs.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

• You must have the ability to effectively supervise and manage care staff
• You’ll follow electronic care plans for each resident and administer medication as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
• You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being
• You will help maintain our high standards ensuring our residents’ home is always clean and safe
