Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to join the therapy team at Abingdon Community Hospital.
You will support registered practitioners in delivering safe, effective rehabilitation, participate in hands-on patient care and help empower patients to manage their conditions and return to community life. A DBS check is required and a full driving licence is necessary.
We are looking for a Rehabilitation Assistant to join our therapy team at Abingdon Community Hospital.
This multidisciplinary team supports patients on the Oxfordshire Pathway, providing physical rehabilitation to maximise recovery and support patients returning to the community.
If you have previous experience providing care or working with people in individual and group settings and have a passion for person centred care, this post may well be for you!
We are a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward-thinking team who work effectively together to deliver high standards of rehabilitation. An active program of in service and competency-based training is established, with a strong team ethos of learning and development.
Please note that this role will require us to undertake a DBS check as part of your onboarding.
You will be expected to work flexibly and provide occasional cover to other community hospital sites to support the delivery of the therapy service.
Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
