About the role

Title: Product Technologist - Cosmetics
Location: Remote working with occasional travel to Northampton
Salary: Up to £35,000
Type: Permanent

SRG is working with a global FMCG product testing company that prides itself on customer service and offers various product testing, certification, and consulting services related to product quality and safety for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. They seek a Product Technologist responsible for successful product launches in America and Australia, completing regulatory documentation, and liaising with suppliers for new product information. This role suits candidates with several years' experience in cosmetics and personal care industries.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate across teams and with suppliers to meet Critical Path deadlines.
2. Log samples on the Critical Path, ensuring compliance with requirements.
3. Develop and implement regulatory strategies for product launches in Australia and America.
4. Gather information from suppliers to meet deadlines.
5. Manage labeling, artwork creation, and document control.
6. Review artwork and provide feedback.
7. Physically review packaging against artwork for errors.
8. Maintain regulatory knowledge and ensure product compliance in global markets.
9. Complete SDS sheets, dossiers, submissions, and other regulatory documents for submissions and renewals.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Recent experience in regulatory compliance for detergents/home care products.
• Understanding of product formulation and standards such as CLP, REACH, CPSC.

Additional information
