Lead Senior Consultant - Placing Finance Professionals into the London Insurance Market

Regulatory Reporting Accountant
£60,000 to £70,000 per annum

Finitas is partnering with a leading London market insurer to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Accountant. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant (2-3 years PQE) with insurance experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analytics). Audit experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance data quality for accurate regulatory reporting.
  • Coordinate Solvency II deliverables with key stakeholders.
  • Improve the quality and timeliness of Solvency II QRT submissions.
  • Support finance initiatives, data reconciliations, and process automation.
  • Assist in preparing UK GAAP financial statements and Solvency II returns.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2-3 years PQE in insurance/reinsurance.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP & UK GAAP for insurance accounting.
  • Solvency II experience is beneficial but not essential.
