Job summary

Artemis Human Capital seeks a proactive Compliance & Regulatory Associate for our Belfast-based financial services team. You will help maintain a robust compliance framework, interfacing with senior colleagues and business teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

The role focuses on monitoring regulatory developments, supporting reporting and due diligence, and fostering a culture of compliance and accountability across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance, regulatory, risk or financial services role in a regulated environment.
• Understanding of financial services regulation and UK regulatory framework.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to analyse information, identify risks and propose practical solutions.
• Confidence working independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the firm’s compliance policies, procedures and controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, submissions and correspondence with relevant regulatory authorities, including the FCA, where applicable.
• Conduct compliance monitoring reviews, thematic assessments and control testing.
• Support the identification, assessment and mitigation of compliance risks.
• Assist with the maintenance of compliance registers, risk assessments, management information and regulatory documentation.
• Provide guidance to colleagues on compliance requirements and internal policies.
• Support client onboarding, customer due diligence and AML processes, where required.
• Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory reviews and the implementation of remedial actions.
• Promote a strong culture of compliance, integrity and accountability across the organisation.
