Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong IFRS/UK GAAP knowledge.
• Experience managing complex audits, statutory reporting and controls.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop teams and manage priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and systems.
• Attention to detail and integrity in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders on commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and balance sheet integrity across UK and Ireland.
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation, external audits and regulatory filings.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks and policies.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and reporting.
• Lead, develop and mentor the financial control team.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Support budgeting activities and partnering with budget holders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting and controls.
• Deputise for the UK CFO when required and advise on governance matters.
