Job summary

Leep Utilities seeks a Regulation and Compliance Manager to ensure regulatory obligations across electricity distribution, heat networks and multi-utility services are understood and implemented. You will translate complex rules into actionable processes and drive compliance across the organisation.

Based in Manchester or Reading with hybrid working, you will interact with regulators, code bodies and internal teams to deliver timely regulatory reports and improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to take ownership of regulatory obligations across a business.
• Strong regulatory experience in utilities or regulated sectors.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Interpret regulatory changes and assess impact on activities.
• Engage regulators and external bodies and support regulatory engagement.
• Collaborate with operations and senior stakeholders to embed requirements.
• Support regulatory assurance activities including audits and evidence gathering.
• Deliver regulatory training and guidance to colleagues.
• Coordinate responses to inspections, audits and information requests.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay updated on electricity distribution and other utility regulation trends.
• Close regulatory risks and audit actions within agreed timelines.
