Job summary

Leep Utilities is looking for a Regulation Analyst to support the Regulation team across compliance, governance and regulatory reporting. You will focus on water regulation, infrastructure charges and broader governance, coordinating with Operations, Finance and Senior Leadership.

You will develop specialist knowledge, learn from experienced colleagues, and take on increasing responsibility as you build technical capability and resilience within the team.

Qualifications

• Some experience in regulatory, compliance, governance, audit, legal, utilities or similarly controlled environment.
• Excellent written communication, including notes, reports, briefings and action trackers.
• Strong analytical skills and practical interpretation of requirements.
• Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regulation & Compliance Manager with day-to-day water regulatory compliance activities.
• Monitor changes in water, energy and heat regulation and industry codes.
• Assist with infrastructure charges activities and annual or ad hoc reviews.
• Support the maintenance of the Table of Accountabilities and governance records.
• Gather information for regulatory reporting, assurance activity and governance reviews.
• Prepare regulatory reports, board updates and internal governance papers.
• Develop and maintain policies and process documents related to regulatory compliance.
• Maintain the document management system and evidence trails.
• Assist internal reviews and audits by collating evidence and tracking actions.
• Prepare briefings and training materials to raise regulatory awareness across the business.
