Leep Utilities in Reading/Manchester Hybrid is seeking a Regulation and Compliance Manager to drive compliance across electricity distribution, heat networks and wider multi-utility services. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business processes and embed them across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to own regulatory obligations and drive compliance activity.
• Strong regulatory experience within regulated utilities.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into practical actions.
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor regulatory change and implement proportionate actions.
• Maintain relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
• Work with operational, technical and senior stakeholders to embed requirements.
• Support regulatory assurance activities including audits and reviews.
• Deliver regulatory training and guidance to colleagues.
• Coordinate responses to inspections and information requests.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay updated with developments in electricity distribution, heat networks, water and wider utility regulation.
• Close regulatory risks and audit actions and track progress.
