Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer based at our Castle Donington office, with travel to other locations. The role involves training delivery, assurance checks and handling regulatory queries to support the regulatory compliance agenda.

You will report to the Regulatory Compliance Team Manager and help disseminate information, manage dip checks, and coordinate year-end submissions while staying aligned with RIIO ED2 requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a regulated environment and understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Ability to convey complex strategic ideas to diverse audiences in a structured way.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Full clean driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of all Regulatory Compliance Team accountabilities.
• Deliver a programme of training to field teams, graduates, apprentices, central functions and contractors.
• Liaise with procurement to ensure training via contractors meets regulatory obligations.
• Manage field compliance related queries.
• Undertake dip checks and provide feedback to improve information and evidence.
• Stay updated on regulatory policies and disseminate changes.
• Update SharePoint as needed.
• Assist with year-end regulatory reports and submission collation.
• Assist with handling Stage 3 and 4 complaints when required.
• Provide daily/weekly updates to the Regulatory Compliance Team Manager.
