Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim invites you to join the Regulatory Affairs UK, Ireland and Malta team for a 12-month paid internship starting September 2027. The role is office-based with at least two days per week on site at our Winnersh headquarters.

You will support regulatory submissions, document reviews, and project work across UK, Ireland and Malta, gaining practical experience across the medicines lifecycle while receiving guidance from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Currently studying an undergraduate life sciences degree and completing a placement year.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• Ability to travel to the usual place of work and other sites as required.
• Interest in medicines, healthcare and regulation, with ability to summarise scientific/technical information.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation, review, tracking and lifecycle maintenance of regulatory submissions for UK, Ireland and Malta.
• Coordinate regulatory documentation and health authority correspondence; maintain records in regulatory systems.
• Review packaging, labeling and promotional materials for consistency with approved information.
• Research regulatory requirements and prepare summaries or updates for stakeholders.
• Support project work including data checks, trackers and document archiving.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to gather information and ensure compliant delivery of activities.
• Participate in team meetings and development activities.
