Job summary

RICS is seeking a Registration & Compliance Support Officer in Birmingham on a hybrid basis. You will guide firms on regulatory registrations, annual returns and professional indemnity requirements, while maintaining precise records and supporting data processes.

The role emphasizes risk-based decision making and strong client service, with a mix of onsite and remote work. You will collaborate with regulatory teams, manage enquiries, and contribute to continuous improvement in compliance

  • The ability to make robust, risk-based decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse and interpret regulatory information and apply RICS rules and professional standards accurately and consistently.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professionalism, discretion, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Desirable: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance systems, or professional indemnity insurance processes
