Job summary

The Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW) in Milton Keynes is seeking a Regulatory Case Manager to join a permanent team. The role offers a salary of £38,279-£41,555 and a hybrid pattern with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home each week.

You will manage regulatory casework, produce high-quality reports, and provide guidance across teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and timescales.

We're looking for a Regulatory Case Manger to join our team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £38,279- £41,555 and a hybrid working pattern 2 days in the office and 3 days from home each week.

What you will be doing;

• Manage a portfolio of regulatory cases, ensuring they are handled professionally and in line with ICAEW policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assess applications, prepare high-quality reports and make recommendations to regulatory committees.
• Oversee casework from initial review through to resolution, ensuring compliance with agreed timescales and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical guidance and respond to enquiries from firms, members and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records, systems and KPIs while identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
• Work collaboratively across Regulation & Conduct and contribute to departmental projects and initiatives

Experience

• Experience managing complex casework, investigations or regulatory/compliance processes.
• Excellent written communication skills, including experience producing clear, detailed reports.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and make sound, evidence-based decisions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively across teams.
• Knowledge of ICAEW Audit Regulations is essential. Experience within a regulatory, audit or professional services environment is highly desirable
