The Registration Officer role involves undertaking the technical administrative duties for thesupport of the building control service, ensuring that duties are carried out inaccordance with the Council’s statutory duty relating to the application andenforcement of the Building Regulations 2010.
The role involves a blend of administrative tasks, problem solving, customer interaction, managing an application process, collaborating with Registered Building Inspectors, consulting with internal and external bodies, while driving customer satisfaction.
