We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our welcoming and experienced team at Oundle Veterinary Surgery - a small animal, first-opinion practice nestled in the picturesque market town of Oundle.

As part of a wider group with branches in Oundle, Thrapston, Peterborough, and Staverton, we deliver high-quality veterinary care for a range of pets - primarily cats and dogs, with the occasional rabbit or guinea pig.
You’ll work alongside a passionate and supportive team of 8 Vets, 11 skilled Nurses, and 9 friendly Support Staff. Though we’re a busy practice, we pride ourselves on maintaining a collaborative, team-first atmosphere. We also believe in giving back, proudly supporting local charities and building long-lasting relationships with pet owners in our community.

About the Role
We’re currently looking for a hardworking and compassionate RVN to join our team on a part-time basis to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The position is for 28 hours per week, spread over three days, and includes:
*One late finish per week (7.30pm)
*1 in 6 Saturdays (8.30am - 5.00pm)
*No out-of-hours required
What You’ll Be Doing
Our nurses are valued for their full range of skills and are involved in every aspect of patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
*Nurse consultations
*Anaesthesia and theatre work
*Inpatient care
*Radiology and ultrasonography
*Laboratory diagnostics
