Job description

Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal (FTC)

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our welcoming and experienced team at Oundle Veterinary Surgery – a small animal, first-opinion practice nestled in the picturesque market town of Oundle.

A Supportive Environment Where You’ll Feel at Home

As part of a wider group with branches in Oundle, Thrapston, Peterborough, and Staverton, we deliver high-quality veterinary care for a range of pets – primarily cats and dogs, with the occasional rabbit or guinea pig.

You’ll work alongside a passionate and supportive team of 8 Vets, 11 skilled Nurses, and 9 friendly Support Staff. We also believe in giving back, proudly supporting local charities and building long-lasting relationships with pet owners in our community.

Shape a Career That Fits Your Life

We’re firm believers that a fulfilling veterinary career should fit alongside your life – not compete with it. That’s why we offer flexible working patterns that can adapt to your needs, whether that’s working around the school run or aligning with school holidays. This part-time role is ideal if you’re seeking a healthy work-life balance within a supportive, forward-thinking practice.

About the Role

We’re currently looking for a hardworking and compassionate RVN to join our team on a part-time basis to cover a 12 month maternity leave. The position is for 28 hours per week, spread over three days, and includes:

  • 1 in 6 Saturdays (8.30am – 5.00pm)
