We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to work at our well-equipped, RCVS-accredited Veterinary Centre located in Crewkerne, Somerset. This is a full-time role, offering 39.5 hours per week.
Be part of our supportive team
Our team consists of 7.5 Vets, 18 Nurses and a dedicated reception team! We are looking for someone to join us working a 4 day week - we understand how important a great work/life balance is, so you get to enjoy 3 days off every week and enjoy the beautiful South Somerset.
Our OOH On Call is covered by a dedicated Out Of Hours centre, who we can also refer critical inpatients to. We offer paid CPD, and extra training is encouraged with the opportunity to study for further qualifications.
Join our well-equipped site
We are an RCVS tier 2 practice incorporating 4 centres, with lots of opportunity for growth and learning.
Our main centre at Crewkerne is a fully equipped practice with up-to-date Ultrasound, endoscope, Digital x-ray and dedicated dental x-ray suite, ECG , Multi-parameters, Tonometers, full in-house Blood diagnostic machines including, Biochemistry, Haematology, electrolytes, T4, microscopy.
Separate dog and cat waiting areas and kennels - with one of our practices having achieved Silver IFSM award! We also have a regular visiting Orthopaedic Specialist so you can have a chance to advance your surgical skills.

As a training practice we also support and help train the next generation of nurses.
Working hours/rota
The working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with one Saturday morning every three weeks from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
