Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the Alpha Vets team on a full-time basis across Risca and Langstone sites in Wales. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care, run clinics, and support theatre and dispensary duties in a busy primary care practice.

The role offers a supportive Nurse Academy, ongoing CPD, and a clear path to senior nurse and leadership opportunities. No out-of-hours, 38 hours per week, with weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse in the UK.
• Clinical nursing experience within a practice setting.
• Experience with surgical nursing and theatre support.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied caseload.
• Run nurse consultations and clinics.
• Provide inpatient and kennel care and assist theatre procedures.
• Support surgical cases including laparoscopy where available.
• Maintain medication safety and dispensary duties.
