Job summary

inspiring vet care in Chipping Norton is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. The role offers a varied caseload in a well-equipped hospital with excellent facilities, on-call shifts, and opportunities for development.

The successful candidate will be RCVS-registered, experienced in clinical nursing, and capable of delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining excellent client relationships.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis.

Our RCVS-accredited tier 3 Veterinary hospital is on the edge of a lovely Cotswold market town and promises an exciting caseload and full lab facilities, a DR x-ray system, dental x-ray, 64-slice CT scanner, a wide range of flexible and rigid endoscopes, ultrasound scanner with colour Doppler, full orthopaedic kit, slit lamp, tonometer, etc.

Practice Highlights

• We are a busy purpose built first opinion hospital with exotic, radioiodine and CT referral services and care for several zoo collections.
• Experience with exotics is not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Among our vets are a specialist in zoo and wildlife medicine, advance practitioners in Small Animal Medicine and ECC, and we have regular visits from referral Dermatologist.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

A full time role with us covers 40 hours per week on a rota basis, including weeknight and weekend on call shifts, and occasional cover at our Begbroke Branch.
