Job summary

North Weald Vets, part of Inspiring Vet Care, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, full-time team in the UK. You will deliver high-quality nursing care and support our clinical standards across first‑opinion cases.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider team, rotating across theatres, inpatient care, nurse consultations and diagnostics to support patient outcomes. We offer a Nurse Academy and ongoing CPD.

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with nursing duties.

North Weald Vets are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

Practice Highlights

• Join a team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 2 Receptionists
• Well-equipped practice with modern facilities, including a new dental X-ray machine
• Wide range of procedures performed in-house

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 40-hour week, Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts, either 8 am - 4 pm or 11 am - 7 pm
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8 am - 1 pm

General Responsibilities

This is a varied and hands-on nursing role where you’ll rotate across different areas of the practice, including:

• Theatre and surgical support
• Inpatient care
• Nurse consultations
• Diagnostic procedures
• Client communication and reception support
