Job summary

IVC Evidensia Farnham is looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join our clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care and supporting excellent client experiences at a busy, first‑opinion practice.

You’ll work closely with veterinary surgeons and the wider team across theatre, inpatient care and nurse consults, in a supportive training environment with student nurses and clinical supervisors, with development pathways through our Nurse Academy.

Qualifications

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • 40 hours per week
  • 4 days per week, 8:15 am–6:30 pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break, split across two sites
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30 am–12:30 pm
  • No OOH
