Job summary

Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. Our RCVS-accredited tier 3 hospital promises an exciting caseload, full lab facilities, advanced imaging, and a supportive team in a lovely Cotswold market town.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care, work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, and contribute to maintaining clinical standards while supporting ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Chipping Norton Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis.

Our RCVS-accredited tier 3 Veterinary hospital is on the edge of a lovely Cotswold market town and promises an exciting caseload and full lab facilities, a DR x-ray system, dental x-ray, 64-slice CT scanner, a wide range of flexible and rigid endoscopes, ultrasound scanner with colour Doppler, full orthopaedic kit, slit lamp, tonometer, etc.

Practice Highlights
  • We are a busy purpose built first opinion hospital with exotic, radioiodine and CT referral services and care for several zoo collections.
  • Experience with exotics is not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Among our vets are a specialist in zoo and wildlife medicine, advance practitioners in Small Animal Medicine and ECC, and we have regular visits from referral Dermatologist.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

A full time role with us covers 40 hours per week on a rota basis, including weeknight and weekend on call shifts, and occasional cover at our Begbroke Branch.
