Job summary

Certitude is seeking a Registered Team Manager in Romford to lead a registered care home, supporting people with learning disabilities and nursing needs. You will coach colleagues, manage rosters, and ensure high-quality person-centred care.

Responsibilities include risk management, development of individual support plans, and strong engagement with families, while maintaining compliance with CQC standards and Right Care guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Knowledge of CQC Regulations, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to lead and motivate the team and embed Certitude values.
• Track record of enabling choice and control for people with learning disabilities.
• Experience of leading teams to embed person-centred working.

Responsibilities

• Actively coach and train colleagues in person-centred support.
• Manage risks by understanding individuals and documenting decisions with families.
• Lead personalised rota planning to maximise opportunities and meet needs.
• Develop support plans through referral, assessment and review.
• Ensure quality indicators, safety, audits, and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, policies, and Right Support/Right Care/Right Culture.
