Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Home Manager to oversee a luxury nursing home in the Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area. You will lead the care team and ensure every resident receives high-quality, person-centered care in a well-designed environment.

As Home Manager you will work with the Clinical Lead and regulatory teams to uphold standards, drive continuous improvement, and maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, and professionals.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with post-registration experience.
• Experience managing a care home is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and resources to provide dignified, high-quality care.
• Collaborate with Clinical Lead and multidisciplinary teams to meet high standards and regulators.
• Lead the home’s vision and drive continuous improvement toward outstanding.

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as NMC registered nurse with relevant post:registration experience, desirable but not essential**

As The Home Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

• To manage staff and resources so that each resident can enjoy a dignified and fulfilling life
• Youll be working closely with your Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of our external regulators
• Reporting to the regional Operations Manager, you will create and lead a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the homes journey to outstanding
• Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts and multi:disciplinary teams

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous experience of managing a care home
• A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding
• Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home
• Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person:centred care
• Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service

Benefits

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP60,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week from 9am to 5pm. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits:
