Job summary

SpaMedica is hiring a Registered General Nurse to join the Carlisle Hospital cluster. The role involves administering medicines under NMC guidance, caring for patients through diagnostics and post-operative recovery, and supporting theatre-day admissions and discharges.

You will mentor colleagues, work full-time (37.5 hours across four of six days), and contribute to continuous training. DBS checks may be required and a 25-day holiday entitlement applies.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC PIN.
• 6-12 months post-registration experience.
• DBS disclosure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
• Administer medicines in line with NMC guidance.
• Admit and discharge patients on theatre days.
• Assist with stock control to maintain par levels.
