Job summary

SpaMedica Carlisle is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our hospital cluster across multiple sites. The role offers 37.5 hours per week in a 4-on-6 shift pattern, with a focus on safe patient care and NHS cataract service excellence.

You will work within the Carlisle team to deliver high standards, support colleagues, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection. The role provides development opportunities and a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer drugs in accordance to the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
• Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
• Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
• To ensure patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR laws.
• Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
• Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.

This role will be based within our Carlisle Hospital cluster, which involves working across multiple sites.

Hours: Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working 4 days out of 6, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Salary: £33,188 - £35,647
