Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our care home on a full-time 36-hour contract. You’ll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents, delivering high-quality care and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

With current NMC registration and up-to-date clinical knowledge, you’ll develop care plans, perform risk assessments and administer medicines safely, while upholding regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and up-to-date clinical knowledge are required.
• Experience producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Dedicated and compassionate, you’ll have a person-centred approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents.
• Develop tailored care plans and conduct risk assessments.
• Provide medicines safely and deliver excellence across all practice areas.
• Exercise professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions while maintaining safety.
