Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) at one of our care homes. You’ll look after residents’ physical, psychological and social needs, using professional judgement to make clinical decisions.

You’ll work autonomously within a supportive team, developing care plans, delivering medicines safely and contributing to continuous quality care. We value compassionate, person-centred care and the contributions of every nurse.

Qualifications

• NMC registration required and up-to-date clinical practice knowledge.
• Experience in developing care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments.
• Administer medicines safely and with clinical judgement.
• Apply regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Provide person-centred, compassionate care to residents.
