Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care at St. Marys Regional Hospital, Grand Junction.

The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care with a focus on evidence-based practice and collaboration with the health team. Minimum qualifications include current RN license and BLS; RNs with less than 12 months experience must attain a BSN within four years.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and information from interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: Develops individualized plan of care with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: Directs care coordination and delegates tasks to the care team.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the plan as needed.
• Professionalism: Maintains ethical standards, documentation, and licensure compliance.
