Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification
• ACLS/PALS is required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred

• A registered nurse who possesses the clinical skills that allow for appropriate patient care needs and demonstrates accountability in coordinating age specific patient care.
• Coordinates and instructs during orientation and provides ongoing clinical education through learning needs assessment of the staff for the Emergency Department.
• Serves as a clinical resource, delegates duties, and holds individuals accountable for outcomes achieved.
