An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-motivated, experienced clinical pharmacist with a passion for education and training to play a significant role in developing the next generation of pharmacists.
This joint post is between Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STHFT) and The University of Sheffield MPharm programme. The clinical educator will develop and deliver teaching and assessment at the university, support experiential learning in the workplace, and work as part of the STHFT clinical pharmacy team to provide pharmaceutical care to patients in wards and departments within the trust.
The successful applicant must be a registered pharmacist with a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent, and experience in education and training. Excellent time management, prioritisation skills, and the ability to manage workload independently while collaborating with colleagues on complex issues are essential. The candidate should also be organised, approachable, adaptable, willing to learn new skills, and committed to continuous professional development.
The post holder will contribute to clinical pharmacy services within an agreed specialty area and support medicines management and optimisation throughout the patient care pathway.

The post holder will participate in the 1 in 5 weekend and bank holiday service within STHFT and the late-night rota until 8 pm.

Salary: £53,755 to £60,504 per annum, pro-rata for part-time staff.
